The EOAs Virtual Network Meetings provide members with an opportunity to hear from other employee owned businesses through case study presentations and Q&A, followed by the chance to network in smaller groups on specific topics unique to employee ownership.

With a diverse membership representing most sectors, sizes and locations across the UK, these meetings are an opportunity to develop new contacts, discuss challenges and opportunities and share best practice and learning.

This month’s Virtual Networking Meeting will feature Rachel Hannah, Head of Technical and Chair of Aquascot Partnership, as well as David Watssman, Standard Cost Technican & Employee Trustee delivering a presentation on how governance works within Aquascot’s Partnership Council, with an emphasis on how important it is to have succession planning & development in place for Partnership Council members and employee trustees.  She will also be talking about the working relationship between Partnership Council & Trust Board  and how processes / procedures are helping to ensure the sustainability of the business and reinforce the core values.

Networking conversations: Attendees will be able to join a breakout room to network and discuss one of the following topics; “The Role of the Employee Council/Forum”, “The Role of Employee Trustee” “Trust Board Governance” and a general employee ownership discussion session.
