Employee owned businesses excel in the art of good leadership. It is in their DNA to empower and embolden employees. It has never been so crucial for businesses to give everyone a voice and ensure their resilience in these challenging times.

In this webinar you will hear from Angela Brown how Childbase Partnership, winner of Sunday Times Best Big Company to work for, has been engaging and communicating with colleagues.

Campbell McDonald will share his experiences as an Independent Chair of Trustees at Broadway Malyan, an architecture, urbanism and design firm. He will cover: the Board’s instincts during a crisis, when do values become nice-to-have and will pose the question what did you do during Covid-19?

Robert Postlethwaite will share a mix of practical experience which derives both from him being a legal adviser on establishing and operating EOTs and also being a Trustee of two, each of which have needed to obtain clarity on their duties in the current situation and then review proposals to reduce business costs which will affect employees, always bearing in mind their core duty to act in the best interests of employees as beneficiaries of the EOT.

Robert has recently written COVID-19: A heads up for Trustees which details particular actions Trustees of an employee trust, as owners of their company on behalf of its employees should be taking.

Join the EOA and expert guest speakers from employee owned business to hear more about the innovative ideas they have implemented to empower all employees through inclusivity.
