Day Three – 18.11.2021
13:00 – 13:40
Synergy Vision: How we achieved Investors in People Platinum accreditation and named the UK’s 3rd Best Small Workplace
Starting with a vision, and sticking to their principles, Synergy Vision have always aimed to have a team-focused ethos, promoting diversity in the workplace, a positive work-life balance and excellence in delivering for clients. This includes initiatives such as the 4-day working week, personalised benefits packages, a bespoke graduate development scheme for industry first-timers, as well as a programme to catapult mid-level managers to senior positions.
Initiatives like these have reignited widespread recognition for Synergy Vision’s commitment to individuals, engagement and governance – the three building blocks of good employee ownership.
Hear from Ffyona Dawber, Global CEO of Synergy Vision to learn:

About the speaker
Winning awards doesn’t make a happy team – having a happy team wins you awards.
Ffyona Dawber has always been a people person, starting life as a nurse with patient and people care her key focus.
Ffyona then took up a role within pharma where this passion for patient care propelled her desire to bring medicines to patients.
Starting with no clients, two staff and a strong vision, Ffyona began Synergy Vision in 2007 and has continuously invested in people, giving all staff a voice and progression opportunities.
She has led industry-leading initiatives including the successful implementation of a four-day working week in 2019 and has led the company to numerous awards, beginning with Most Promising New Business in 2009.
This early recognition has continued through to the present day, gaining Investors in People platinum accreditation – placing it in the top two per cent of UK companies and number one it its sector in 2020 – and getting ranked 3rd in the Great Places to Work (Small Business).
Ffyona believes that the attention we give to the team and creating a flexible, inclusive workplace allows our people to thrive.
This supports recruitment, retention and, ultimately, award wins.
