Joining Cambridge Weight Plan in 2003 as a PR Executive, Chris progressed to Communications and Marketing Manager and overseeing the business’ international network before becoming MD. Cambridge Weight Plan makes low calorie diet food products which are sold by UK network of 3500 self-employed consultants and globally by 30 independent distributors. The business is 100% employee owned through a trust and has 225 Stakeholders working within it.
Alastair Sawday
Sawday’s has spent over 25 years finding, visiting and choosing brilliant places to stay - for people who love special. When Alastair was contemplating his ‘business exit’ he felt selling, in the traditional sense, was not an option.
In November 2017 he changed the business to the current hybrid model - an employee owned, charitable, family company.
