If your employee owned culture is something to shout about then we’ve got the place to do it.

The EOA, with the support of sponsor Baxendale, has launched two new Awards as part of the  UK Employee Ownership Awards 2018.

These  Awards celebrate business excellence in employee owned businesses and the contribution the employee owned sector makes to the UK economy. There are 5 awards for businesses and individuals to apply or nominate for as a well as the Phillip Baxendale Fellowship Award which will is  decided upon by the Judges.

Recognising that it is the culture of employee owned businesses that empowers employees to drive performance, the EOA has introduced the Employee Owned Culture of the Year award for those that can demonstrate a clear account of its employee owned culture and the impact that has on its key stakeholders.

This EOA and Baxendale have also introduced an award that recognises the wider impacts demonstrated by Public Service Mutuals that can show how their employee ownership drives measurable performance improvements as well as significant impacts within the business and the communities they serve. The award is supported by DCMS and Mutuals Programme Director Jonathan Lindley will be guest judge on this Award.

The Awards, managed by the EOA, and sponsored by leading EOA member Baxendale,  will also continue to include the following three awards which celebrate excellent business and individual performance:

“So why wouldn’t you enter for the chance to be recognised by your peers at the Conference and Awards and beyond in the media.”

Ewan Hall, Legal Director of Baxendale said: “At Baxendale, we get to hear amazing stories all the time; it is one of the perks of working with so many organisations that are either employee owned already or moving in that direction.

“But there is something particularly rewarding about being involved in the Awards and hearing about the journeys and achievements of so many exceptional organisations and individuals – all connected by this incredible sector that we work in. So share your EO story now for a chance to be recognised.”
