Pillar Software is an IT software developers in Newent with 8 employee owners.
Member transitions
Flowstore – The business transitioned to employee ownership on EO Day 2017. The business, a specialist in applying Lean Manufacturing solutions for customers, provides custom built materials handling and storage equipment for manufacturing and distribution operations was established in 1984 with just 2 people, and now has 50 employees covering the UK, Ireland & Benelux. Tangerine – The Manchester-based PR agency has celebrated its 15th anniversary by becoming employee owned. The agency has announced that it will place 64 per cent of its shares into an employee ownership trust, the Tangerine Partnership, which will be shared among its 60-plus team. Beta Valve – The supplier of solenoid valves for the control of water, air, oil and other liquids transitioned to employee ownership in June. Founded in 1983 and headquartered in High Wycombe Beta Valve Systems Ltd is now entirely owned by an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). Read more on their website>
Member successes – the EOA congratulates…
Parfetts – the business is celebrating two awards wins in the HIM! Wholesale Awards and recognition in the Advantage Report Mirror as well as strong quarter four financial results as reported in Landmark Wholesale and Asian Trader.
Smile Together – the dentists have been celebrating a number of award wins including Employer of the Year” at the Cornwall Business Awards as well as Silver in the “Best New Business” category. While one of their dental nurses won “Dental Nurse of the Year” at the Dental Awards.
Union Industries – The Leeds manufacturer has reported its most profitable trading year ever which as been picked up by Bdaily.
