EO Hub celebrates milestone with new developments

The EOA is marking a successful first year for its online member platform the EO Hub by upgrading some of its features.

Recent sponsorship of the platform by EOA Trustee Member Arup is being used to support the development of the Hub by making it a closed platform with a resource library to store useful information that can be used exclusively by members.

Since starting the development way back in 2017 and launching ready for the EOA Annual Conference last year, the platform has seen more than 600 people from 230 businesses making more than 1800 connections.

With more than 3000 logins a month the Hub users have been creating discussions on employee ownership structures, cultures and employee representation on the forum, have shared their employee ownership news and had access to event information and member offers.

The Hub which was created to extend the benefits of EOA membership, offers more places for members to connect, network and share best practice in between our regional networks and signature events.

Deb Oxley CEO of the EOA said: “We know that our members find great value from connecting with like-minded businesses which is why we created the EO Hub to allow a space for this to continue outside of our events and networks programme”.

“We aim for the developments to offer a safe online space where businesses can access knowledge and share their experiences to support them, their business and support others throughout their employee ownership journey.”
