Help the EOA celebrate 40 years of better business together
The EOA is 40 in 2019 and the organisation will be celebrating 40 years of better business together.
The association, which was established as Job Ownership Limited (JOL) by English journalist, economist and social reformer Robert Oakeshott in 1979, is urging its 350 members as well as its stakeholders to get involved in events and campaigns throughout the year.
The organisation is collecting 40 voices of employee ownership and EOA facts from across 40 years for its EOA40 web page, and is urging those who feel they can contribute to this to get in touch. There is a year worth of EOA40 activities an campaigns to get involved with.
There are also a number of sponsorship opportunities for EOA40 events and campaigns in 2019 with bespoke packages on offer.
Deb Oxley OBE, Chief Executive of the EOA, said: “We are celebrating 40 years of better business together while having our sights set on the future and our target of three million employee owners by 2030.
“With the support of our members, stakeholders and those whose interests align with ours, the EOA’s 40th anniversary will be a seminal year, to support the growth of the sector in the UK; laying the foundations for a new economic era where the impact of business on individuals, their families and their communities starts to work in the interest of the many, not the few.”
