EOA Conference Headline Sponsor – J Gadd Associates Guest Blog

Guest Blog by Jeremy Gadd, J Gadd Associates

Where has the last year gone to? How can we be on the eve of the 2021 EOA conference already?

We are delighted to be Headline co-sponsors for the third year running, along with Postlethwaite, supporting the first fully digital EOA conference. We know the EOA team have been working hard alongside First Event to bring together more opportunities to experience case studies, discussions and share best practice, in addition to formal and informal networking.

Some of the benefits of attending any conference, are the opportunities to meet new people, catch up with old friends and share experiences. And this year the EOA team have been pushing to help bring this to life in a new way, to really add value to the programme over the 3 dates. The networking platform will afford opportunities to join smaller topic led discussions as well as being able to hook up with contacts to continue previous conversations or start completely new ones. We’re excited to see how this will work, and to have the chance to virtually ‘mingle’ with delegates in the dedicated networking space – we hope to see some of you there.

We’re really looking forward to all the sessions on sharing best practice and advice. We understand just how valuable these can be, whether you’re exploring employee ownership and looking for information and options, or established and considering ways to enhance or invigorate what you already have in place. The value of sharing experiences with others and enabling conversations is huge, and supports good employee ownership as well as better ways of doing business.

That’s why we’re really pleased that a number of our previous clients have been able to support some sessions, sharing their experiences and what their advice would be now for others to benefit and use in their planning.

On Tuesday 16th, Tim Frankland from Claremont Group Interiors and Lucy Wallwork from LUC will be talking with Jeremy Gadd about designing and delivering the Trust Board. Both companies have moved to an indirect EOT in the last couple of years, and so sharing their experience of establishing their Trust Board and reflecting on what they have been able to achieve should give other organisations a great insight.

Wednesday 17th sees Lindsay Tilley from LDA Design share their transition story with Jeremy and Robert Postlethwaite adding their professional perspective.  A must-see session for explorers of employee ownership and any organisation currently planning their transition.

Then on Thursday 18th, we’re delighted that Steve Webber, MD of The Rooflight Company, along with John Housego of Aquascot, will be sharing their experiences of how leadership behaviours impact an effective co ownership culture. Our Associate Philippa Meaden is on hand to tease out those questions and highlight any opportunities for delegates to reflect on or add to their post conference research lists.

If you haven’t already registered there is still time to do so, and plan your sessions from the programme, or schedule when you’ll use your access to catch up with any you can’t get to during the event.

So whether you’re exploring employee ownership, looking for best practice and ideas or seeking inspiration for better business, there’s definitely something at this years conference for you.
