EOA welcomes Green Paper on Corporate Governance Reform

The EOA welcomes the publication of the Government’s Green Paper on Corporate Governance Reform and is discussing its response to the consultation.

Our CEO Deb Oxley gave her views on BBC Breakfast on Tuesday 29th of November, the day the paper was released, during an interview with Steph McGovern on how employee owned businesses are already exemplars for fairness and transparency on executive pay, that have strong mechanisms for employee voice and corporate governance and that support a better way of doing business.

As the only organisation that has a membership full of real life experience linked to many of the proposed policies, the EOA will seek to advise the Government on good governance that is already working for a range of large and small employee owned UK businesses.
