Sponsor viewpoint: conference sponsor Capital for Colleagues
We’re really pleased for a second year running to have the opportunity to be the EOA Annual Conference sponsor.
And this year I have also enjoyed being one of the EOA members on the newly formed Conference Steering Group that gives the membership a bigger input into the development of the content for the 2016 conference.
For those who are employee owned, support employee owned businesses or have an interest in being employee owned, there is no other place like the conference to network, get support, share best practice and take in some learning.
This year more than 600 of you will attend this event and we as a business look forward to being part of that, to enjoy great presentations and speeches in a room full of people who are interested in employee ownership, as well as the great range of seminars and workshops.
I’m looking forward to people hearing from keynote speaker Jack Stack on how, 30 plus years ago, he took his failing business and turned it into an exemplary $600m, 1,200 people employee owned business today. And in particular how he taught his people how finance really works in their company, so that they are truly empowered to make informed decisions as employee owners about their future.
The very nature of those involved in employee ownership is the desire to give something back, or to empower employees, and that supportive mind set is always very much alive at the EOA Conference.
We hope to see many of you there, and make contact with employee owners old, new and future at the conference in November.
