EOA to contribute to Employee Ownership session at Co-op Congress

There’s just one month to go until Co-op Congress in Manchester, where the EOA will be leading a session on employee and worker ownership alongside Damon Horrill from Cornerstone Inns, Polly Robbins from Outlandish and Sandy Lindsay MBE from communications agency Tangerine.

With a theme of Building Co-operative Places, speakers at the event include Mayor of Greater Manchester Andy Burnham, the RSA, Co-op Group and bestselling author Oliver Bullough. There are workshops around leadership, brand identity and the innovative use of technology.

You can find out who else is speaking at Congress and book a place via https://www.uk.coop/congress.

Deb Oxley CEO of the EOA said: “While the EO worker coops models differ, they both offer employees a voice and a stake in the business that they work.

“There is also a belief by both of our organisations that this leads to better business that can support a more inclusive economy and sharing of wealth and therefore we have a shared purpose to help grow this part of the economy.”
