Employee-owned business leaders care more deeply about their people, their fellow employee owners, and the impact their thought processes and decision making can have upon them. As conversations and planning turns towards retuning to the workplace, leaders will be considering how they do this and do this well at a time where ‘normal’ no longer exists.
Shaun Imrie, Group Head of Operations & Compliance from EOA member Shawston International will discuss his business’ approach to the operational lock-down and its approach to operational recovery.
Helen Moreton, Master Coach with 20 years’ experience within the EO Sector will explore the key considerations beyond the operational and digital, to ensure teams feel engaged and psychological safety at an anxious and unsettling time. She will consider principles of EO and how they can be leveraged to support the transition and embrace a new way of operating and being.

Biographies
Shaun Imrie, Group Head of Operations and Compliance, Shawstons International
After serving as a Royal Engineer, Shaun has worked for some of the world’s leading organisations in both legal compliance and operational management for over ten years. Shaun now resides on the Shawstons International Senior Leadership team playing a significant part on their journey to achieving 100% true employee ownership.

Helen Moreton, Master Coach
Helen has been an active part of the EO Sector for over twenty years. She spent 18 years at John Lewis Partnership in a variety of independent and strategic roles; her last role was a non-executive one working within the democratic structures and advising business leaders upon growing a culture of EO. Helen now works with several other EO businesses and is Chair of Riverford’s Co-owner Council and Chair of Turley’s Board of Trustees.
