The EOAs series of Virtual Network Meetings will provide members with an opportunity to hear from other employee owned businesses through case study presentations and a Q&A, followed by the chance to network in smaller groups on specific topics unique to employee ownership.

With a diverse membership representing most sectors, sizes and locations across the UK, these meetings are an opportunity to develop new contacts, discuss challenges and opportunities and share best practice and learning.

Our inaugural Virtual Networking Meeting will focus on the importance of businesses reviewing their strategic priorities.  Regardless of the size of your business, or the impact Covid-19 has had on your business – whether you are thriving or hibernating, reviewing priorities is essential to stay ahead of the curve.

We are delighted that John Housego, Managing Director of Aquascot will be joining us. Five months ago, John Housego took up the position as Managing Director of Aquascot.  Over the last few months, John and colleagues have reviewed the strategic priorities of their business. John will share; why the review was implemented, the process they went through and how this has shaped the business for the future. Aquascot is based in the Highlands of Scotland. Their main focus is aquaculture – the farming of fish.  They are the dedicated specialist Scottish salmon and Trout supplier to retailer Waitrose.

In this Virtual Network Meeting you will hear updates from the EOAs Deb Oxley and Oliver Smith,  followed by an introduction from John Housego of Aquascot and a Q&A session, before moving into smaller Open Space discussions. The themes for this month’s Open Space sessions will focus on: employee engagement, elected representatives or a general debate around any hot topics which you wish to bring up. As part of your booking process you will asked to select your first and second choice for the open-space discussion.

Places are limited to 48, and for the open-space discussions we have capped numbers at 16 to ensure that all members have the opportunity to engage.

EOA members can register for their place using the form below. Please ensure that the email you use to register is the same email that you use to log in to the meeting, which will be held on the Zoom platform, this allows us to correctly pre-assign members to their Open Space breakout rooms. If you do not use the same email, the system will not recognise it and will prevent you from being able to access the discussion group.
