EOA Virtual Network Meeting – 23.09.2020

The EOAs Virtual Network Meetings provide members with an opportunity to hear from other employee owned businesses through case study presentations and a Q&A, followed by the chance to network in smaller groups on specific topics unique to employee ownership.

With a diverse membership representing most sectors, sizes and locations across the UK, these meetings are an opportunity to develop new contacts, discuss challenges and opportunities and share best practice and learning.

In 2018, Westcotec, one of the industry leaders in Vehicle Activated Signs transitioned to employee ownership. 18 months into his role as MD, Chris Spinks, will share what this has meant for him, his colleagues and the business. He will share – the governance structure, how embedding transparent and open communication have been critical to success and how colleagues have taken ownership and contributed to shaping a business fit for the future through adapting and innovating in how they engage with their market.

Networking conversations: Take part in one of four discussions on the following topics; increasing levels of employee engagement, the role of elected representatives, encouraging effective behaviours in employee owned businesses, and a general discussion on other employee ownership matters.
