Dame Sharon will outline her vision for the future of the partnership, the importance of customer service and the prospects for retail and the high street.

Baxall Construction

Hear from Malcolm Clarke, Managing Director at Baxall Construction, and a member of his team to find out how becoming employee owned was driven by the desire to create a legacy as part of the business’ succession planning and how EO was a natural next step given the existing culture. Also hear about its strategic focus on leadership development, its rewards and incentives, and how information in shared.

In small groups, you will have the opportunity to meet and learn from your peers in other EO businesses. Discuss challenges, opportunities, support and learn from one another in two elements of the event: 

• Topic-based discussions: to facilitate this, you’ll see on our registration form we ask you submit a topic you’d like to gain insight on, and experience you’re able to share. Make sure you make the most of the opportunity! 
• Sharing insights on key roles: whatever your role – employee trustees and representatives, founders, leadership teams, HR, communications – and whatever stage of employee ownership, you’ll be connected to people in similar positions to learn from one another. 

You’ll also have an opportunity to speak to: 

• RM2 on share incentive schemes for recognising and rewarding employees. 
• London & Capital on the financial considerations when selling your business to an EOT.
