Congratulations to UK EO award winners

More excellent success stories were shared at the UK Employee Ownership Awards 2016.

The awards, delivered by the EOA, celebrate the success of the employee ownership sector, and in 2016 were sponsored for a second year by leading EOA member Baxendale.

Presented as part of the EOA Annual Conference Gala Dinner on Monday 21 November, attended by 580 people, saw the 5 winners crowned: Union Industries, Innovation of the Year; RISE CIC, Rising Star of the Year; Childbase Partnership, Employee Owned Business of the Year; Lucy Humphrey of Leading Lives, Employee Owner of the Year and the winner of the Philip Baxendale Fellowship Award, David Erdal.

A further 7 businesses were highly commended including Houlder Ltd and Sales Agility Ltd in the Innovation of the Year, Union Industries and Rowlinson Knitwear in the Rising Star of the Year category, Cambridge Weight Plan and Anglican Community Enterprise (ACE) CIC in the Employee Owned Business of the Year and Keri Grant of Wise Investment for employee Owner of the Year.

A further 6 were commended in the employee owner of the year category:

Katrina Mackay – Scott & Fyfe; Sharon Crosland – MyCSP; Barry Flannaghan – InSync Technology; Ewa Smereka – Gripple; Stacey Hardy – LoadHog; Simon La Fosse – La Fosse Associates
