Comedian to bring improvisation to networking sessions

The EOA’s Speed Networking event at the 2016 Annual Conference will get a touch of improvisation from ‘king of the key message’ Neil Mullarkey.

Neil is known to bring innovation and improvisation theatre to some of the world’s biggest corporations; transforming businesses from the inside by encouraging communication, simplicity, collaboration, engagement and creativity.

Neil, a comedian, who also works with people and businesses to expand their perceptions, and improve internal and external communication in the process, also co-founded the world famous improvisation group The Comedy Store Players with Mike Myers.

Those who do not know him through his business work may know him from his appearances on the likes of Have I Got News For You, Whose Line Is It Anyway, Austin Powers and QI. His journey as a performer and founder has highlighted the importance of mentality, attitude, branding and networking.

He will host the EOA Speed Networking session at the EOA Conference from 3.15pm on Monday 21 November.

The EOA is delighted that EOA member Cambridge Weight Plan has also taken the opportunity to sponsor the session with Neil.

Head of Membership at the EOA, Oliver Smith, said: “We are thrilled to secure Neil for the conference because he will bring a breadth of experience having worked with many signature clients on how to communicate effectively within their business.

“We are pleased that a number of our members have taken the opportunity to sponsor the conference or aspects of the conference and we are grateful for their support of the event and the EO sector.”
