The built environment sector continues to be a fast-growing sector for businesses transitioning to employee ownership, and therefore provides an opportunity to enhance this growth even further. To coincide with the week of ‘Employee Ownership Day’, the EOA and Arup invite you to attend an exploratory event designed specifically for professional businesses in your industry.

Do not miss this unique event hosted by leading employee owned business, Arup if:

You work for an employee owned business operating in the built environment sector?

Hear the experiences of peers BB Partnership, Tibbalds, Make and Steer Davies Gleave to understand how they operate employee owned businesses, make the most of their status and additionally how you can be more involved in this part of this fast-growing community of employee owned businesses

You are not employee owned but want to know more

This event is a must if you are considering the future of your business!! Employee ownership works for businesses in your sector, with professional services accounting for 50% of the employee owned sector, Architects practices, and the built environment is the biggest growth area within that: 15% of the AJ 100 is employee owned, over 20% of our membership is made up of the built environment businesses and that’s set to grow. This is a unique experience to capture the reflections of those operating within your sector, as to how they became employee owned and how this fast growing structure of ownership is impacting their business.

Agenda:

  • Introductory presentation covering the ‘what and why’ of employee ownership and the scale and breadth of the sector.
  • Hear from our host, Arup, about their journey to trust ownership and the differences their ownership model has brought to their business and culture.
  • Attend case study sessions suited to your particular interest in employee ownership
  • Participate in group discussions and have the opportunity to ask questions.
