Created by the Employee Ownership Association in 2013  EO Day is a dedicated to celebrating the significant benefits that employee ownership delivers to the UK economy.

Employee owned businesses think and act for the long term. As a consequence they achieve higher productivity, profitability and greater levels of innovation than externally owned businesses and are more resilient to economic turbulence. They also have more fulfilled and less stressed workforces.

Supported by business, an array of trade and industry groups and across the political spectrum last year’s EO day was a phenomenal success with employee-owned businesses of all sizes participating in hundreds of events to mark the day.
